City cops earn ‘A’ in 1st amendment audit of right to photograph

Two smart phone-toting First Amendment auditors visit Chattanooga police department March 12 and quickly generate a “strong” police response — the arrival of several cruisers. The officers press for IDs, but respectfully accept the auditors’ refusals and do nothing to impede or impair the free citizens’ exercise of their constitutionally protected right to film in public.
