ICE seizes dad, swipes operating cash for Gaia Italian grille

Monique Due says her husband Carlos Martinez, a hard-working immigrant, has been arrested and is in ICE custody in the Knoxville area. The feds also seized $30,000 from the family business, Gaia Italian Grill, at the intersection of Lee and Highway 153 in Chattanooga. That means she and her brother-in-law, Ramone, are having to “work for free” to keep the place open. The restaurant is next to the federal recruiting facility in that retail plaza.
