My unlawful arrest Nov. 22, 2023, gives me standing to demand a federal judge remind Hamilton County government — from county commission to sheriff Austin Garrett — that the state and federal constitutions are in effect for all those who believe in them, and are willing to fight for rights recognized in them as inhering in us as God’s children, made in his image, rights that are unalienable and guaranteed under officials’ oath of office.
