Basil Marceaux, the inveterate pro se litigant and critic of the police-industrial complex in Tennessee, is going under the knife today at Erlanger for a pacemaker. He expects to be out the next day at his residence in Soddy-Daisy. Police have arrested and assaulted him many times as he asserts the right of free communication and private movement on the people’s roads. (Photo David Tulis)
