Robert Ashton Winslow tells how superior people of means and talent in the past 50 years have reshaped the river city into a tourist town with a pro-environment reputation. “We are so diverse and full of ideas and we do have real divisions,” the young filmmaker says. “But polarization makes us forget that we really are all in this together. We are stronger than anything we’re up against except if we’re this divided. I want to see more media from that perspective. If there’s so much profit in division or absurdity, who bets there’s a secondary market in unity. We all want better windows into the world today, how about going into real conversation.”
