CALEA ‘inspects’ Sheriff Hammond’s works and will find them all good

Sheriff Hammond intends to squeak by getting "certification," knowing CALEA will ignore real abuses.

A review of the high standards of CALEA, the cop certification nonprofit group, that finds policies in good shape but turns its gaze away from systemic violations of law that convert Hamilton into a county in which general warrants are served, in violation of the state constitution forbidding general warrants (see Tenn. Code Ann. § 42-7-103, arrest by officer without a warrant).

    Of course, what would anyone expect? One corporation appoints another to inspect the other, to see if the “policies” (imposing the edicts of Washington D.C. upon the People of a Republic, by beating up the “residents”, in example), are all lined up, and clothed in the same uniform. That of the Military force.

    Does Hammond get extra bonus points for turning his office over to “Law Enforcement” instead of the Lawfully constituted office of the People, Peace Officer? How about for the public masquerade of clothing himself as a Peace Officer, while acting as a federal law enforcement guy?

    While his office appears to do yeoman work in enforcing the Martial Law upon the residents, does it address at all, the duties to the People of Tennessee, trying to live in the County of Hamilton?
