Every Friday morning in Hixson I attend Panera Posse, a group of homeschool dads who love children, work, free markets, constitutional liberty and ideas.
We talk, gulp coffee and relish bagels from 6:30 a.m. until about 8. Our most recent Panera Posse was graced by Erik Smith, a chemical plant electrician I met at a north county water board meeting focusing on fluoride. Eric and his wife Chaiesa have children and are anxious to have people in authority stop an official water pollution practice by “the good people.” He is a very well-spoken Southerner whom we hope to see again.
What about you? I invite you my regular reader to join us. If you want to make sure I’ll be at any given Panera Posse, email me ahead of time, or text me. I don’t like missing this gathering.
We enjoy talking about experiences, problems, books, the Word of God, theology and politics. Never touch sports, glad to say.
