Loretto in middle TN gets notice, but FB spikes effort to share
In January I put the town of Loretto under transportation administrative notice, having heard of abusive police encounters under Tenn. Code Ann. § Title 55, the state trucking, shipping, hauling, freight and transportation law.
It was done to preserve the liberties of people living in that town and in Lawrence County, or of people who pass through the town, which dangerously arrests people under the freight law who are not involved in the freight line of business.
The confirming of its receipt gives some leverage to a person seeking to sue for damages from a transportation arrest — aka “traffic stop.”
In my efforts to inform the people of that town, I sought to promote the story on this website to people residing in the town or within 25 miles of it by a Facebook “boost” of the URL.
The great socializing commie organization, however, forbade my efforts to inform and encourage the people to hold officials accountable, stating it did not meet with the platform’s guidelines.
