Video streaming by Ustream David Tulis explores how technology arose from Christianity to bring about both distributed means and distributed results. The care of homeless men in a revived Union Gospel Mission is based on these dual premises — decentralized care, individual soulful results. Secondarily, a local effort to devise secure email against police state surveillance also relies on distributed means, and distributed results. The distribution model for Shofar Portfolio secure email gives away software, and lets adopters make livings from selling the service in a distributed way less vulnerable to “takedown.” My interview with programmer John Kozlowski.
