Government entities in TN criminalize all non-commercial travel, requiring valid driver licenses of all and prosecuting private travel as illegal. Then they criminalize alleged misdoings under license in desregard of the uniform administrative procedures act, which requires administrative hearings first. Mr. Eastman is under a debt servitude passing F$7,000. My federal “taillight” lawsuit seeks to decriminalize traffic cases. A copy of the first-of-its-kind complaint over an arrest for a damaged taillight is here. I tell Mr. Eastman he should always have in his car a copy of Tennessee transportation administrative notice, as a shield against false claims by cops.
