Though I could agree with the tyrants that the vast majority of churches are “non-essential” and their failure to defy the tyrants affirms their non-essentiality – the tyrants need to be confronted and the churchmen rebuked. The churchmen of our day have not learned that a tyrant cannot be appeased – he must be confronted. Why is that? Perhaps because the vast majority have never fought to begin with.
