Sunday marks the end of a 15-day period giving strong evidence of a U.S. sky striping program evidently serving in the federal government’s war on climate change, one that a Trump administration officials asks be ramped up.
Jets dispersed their spreading white tattoos nine days, according to observer records.

The sky over Hamilton County was marked by numerous white powdery streaks, and a typical chalky sky that is like haze or smog, a backdrop to ordinary cumulus cloud cover nearer to the ground.
Jets drag their plumes either in the high troposphere — just above where weather patterns work — or in the low stratosphere, up to 10 miles igh. The dull plasma backdrop Saturday above the clouds vanished by midafternoon, as if an apparent plan to “cover” the Chattanooga district is dissipated by the vagaries of winds and weather. At 4 p.m., clouds were backdropped by blue — normal weather, you could say.
Intense activity over 2 weeks
In the 15-day period, the geoengineering program has poured cloud dust into the atmosphere over Chattanooga March 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 25 and 26. One of those groupings is three days straight, a Thursday through Saturday (March 16-18).
One effect of geoengineering is to dim and diffuse the rays of the sun. That is a desirable outcome for authors of scientific papers that debate the science of cloud manufacture and, sometimes, sometimes the morality of altering and “managing” the weather. The theory behind stratospheric aerosol geoengineering — also called boldly “solar radiation management — is to deflect sunlight from the atmosphere back into space. But critics of the program say that the problem of radiation management is that artificial cloud banks — some thousands of square miles in size — trap radiant heat and contribute to global warming, which by many accounts has intensified in the past decade.
Aerosol injection sweeps often are conducted in front of weather systems like the one that brought an early night over Hamilton County, seemingly from the southwest. The effect of aerosolized masses of dust intersected by a storm system is desiccation. Desiccation is the drying out of storm system, its dilution and dissipation. The program of many western governments also slashes evaporation rates and wind flow, sometimes with unintended consequences.
Pollution policy
The skies over Chattanooga today could be fairly described as highly polluted. But the haze is a policy pollution. It is intended for the public benefit ostensibly, for a state benefit certainly. Though it might rightly be said to violate the federal clean air act, the people protected by that act are not qualified to judge whether the official government pollution program is an evil or benefit. Whatever the national security interests see as a public benefit, it is a public benefit. Compelling state interest is public interest, even though illness and damage follow from the raining down of sky dust upon farms, neighborhoods, parks, swimming pools, kindergarten playgrounds, downtowns, rivers, open high school smoking zones. It may be bad for the health of the people touched by these particles. But policy skies win over public health by overriding it, superintending it.
Remarkable weather systems in the past five years can be attributed to the program, including exaggerated storms, flooding and drought.
Southeast Tennessee was bombarded more than half of the days the past two weeks; it is not known why. There may exist a quota system for allocation of cloud coverage. It could be a mix of quota — and random allocation. Reasons and rationales are not discoverable by freedom of information act requests and other instruments of the media. The best an observer can do is mark sky striping days, look for patterns and take photos.
Coal fly ash is the material used. It is a gray or tan powder as fine as talcum; it is reflective, with particles tiny enough to remain in the sky for hours, even weeks, depending on the weather.
Sky striping is a crime for which no information has been issued by a prosecutor, no indictment issued by a grand jury. No public body is known to be investigating. Dozens of aviators — maybe past 100 — took part in it over Hamilton County these past two weeks. These men and women maintain silence about the program for personal and professional interest. They face criminal sanctions if they make any communications to the press or the blogosphere, or their spouses. Their work is classified under state security. Thousands of people know about the program, and little has been discovered about it, just as million-dollar payouts and threat have kept from public view causes behind 9/11 or the California drought.
Sky striping is presented to the public and in the academic press as a future program envisioned by the boldest scientists bent on saving the planet from mankind use of coal and oil. However, it is an existing program led by Washington as head of the club of nation-states. Progressives care about the environment, but nation-states receive their cover of silence. Environmentalists disbelieve sky striping because it is untenable that the state, their savior on many fronts in a religious sense, would deliberately pollute the skies or endanger public health.
Trump official urges mass chemtrailing program
➤ In January the U.S. government posted a paper in favor of a mass chemtrailing program. “David Schnare, an architect of Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency transition, has lobbied the US government and testified to Senate in favour of federal support for geoengineering. He has called for a multi-phase plan to fund research and conduct real-world testing within 18 months, deploy massive stratospheric spraying three years after, and continue spraying for a century, a duration geoengineers believe would be necessary to dial back the planet’s temperature. Geoengineers argue that such methods would be an inexpensive way to reduce global warming, but scientists have warned it could have catastrophic consequences for the Earth’s weather systems.
“Scientific modelling has shown that stratospheric spraying could drastically curtail rainfall throughout Asia, Africa and South America, causing severe droughts and threatening food supply for billions of people. ‘Clearly parts of the Trump administration are very willing to open the door to reckless schemes like David Keith’s, and may well have quietly given the nod to open-air experiments,’ said Silvia Riberio, with technology watchdog ETC Group. ‘Worryingly, geoengineering may emerge as this administration’s preferred approach to global warming. In their view, building a big beautiful wall of sulphate in the sky could be a perfect excuse to allow uncontrolled fossil fuel extraction. We need to be focussing on radical emissions cuts, not dangerous and unjust technofixes.’” (Martin Lukacs, “Trump presidency ‘opens door’ to planet-hacking geoengineer experiments,” The Guardian, March 27, 2017)
Balloon ‘test’ to study reflectivity
➤ Researchers are reported working on an initial “test” of sky striping — again because no one knows how to dump material from jets. “A pair of Harvard climate scientists are preparing small-scale atmospheric experiments that could offer insights into the feasibility and risks of deliberately altering the climate to ease global warming.
They would be among the earliest official geoengineering-related experiments conducted outside of a controlled laboratory or computer model, underscoring the growing sense of urgency among scientists to begin seriously studying the possibility as the threat of climate change mounts. Sometime next year, Harvard professors David Keith and Frank Keutsch hope to launch a high-altitude balloon, tethered to a gondola equipped with propellers and sensors, from a site in Tucson, Arizona. After initial engineering tests, the ‘StratoCruiser’ would spray a fine mist of materials such as sulfur dioxide, alumina, or calcium carbonate into the stratosphere. The sensors would then measure the reflectivity of the particles, the degree to which they disperse or coalesce, and the way they interact with other compounds in the atmosphere.” (James Temple, “Harvard Scientists Moving Ahead on Plans for Atmospheric Geoengineering Experiments,” MIT Technology Review, March 24, 2017)
➤ Weather modification is old hat. Jordan is intensifying efforts to artificially produce rainfall. “Earlier this month, Jordan, the second most water-poor country in the world, ordered more rainfall through cloud-seeding to help alleviate water shortages. Jordan’s cloud-seeding experiment followed after Russia, which last year ordered the rain to fall earlier in order to guarantee a dry day for parades and celebrations. Around the same time as Russia was manipulating its weather, California’s Tahoe Basin, desperate for extra snow for the coming ski season, ordered, well, more snow.
Cloud-seeding geoengineering, in use for more than 75 years to produce rain and snow, is a technological approach to manipulate the weather and climate. In the process of cloud-seeding or weather modification, silver iodide, potassium iodide, or solid carbon dioxide is shot into clouds by rockets, sprayed into clouds by drones or aircraft, or burned in generators atop mountains. Once inside the cloud, the chemicals freeze to create ice crystals, which turn to rain or snow that falls to the ground.” (Nancy Landrum, “Will geoengineering save the world — or destroy it?” Theweek.com, March 25, 2017)
➤ Rick Igou, a populist commentator who runs Chattanoogaheadlines.com, has taken up sharing photos about sky striping. Mr. Igou, a Vietnam war veteran receiving disability from aerial biological modification activities (Agent Orange), is active on social media with an in-house newscast, “Rick’s Rants.”
➤ Massive methane eruptions are pushing the planet toward Venus Syndrome, says Dane Wigington of Geoengineeringwatch.org. “The climate engineering cabal is completely committed to chemically ice nucleating the polar regions in an unimaginably desperate and destructive attempt to cover up the unfolding methane catastrophe. *** Without the knowledge or consent of their populations, governments around the world colluded and collaborated on the organization and deployment of incredibly destructive climate ‘intervention’ programs that are further fueling the catastrophic consequences of anthropogenic activity on planet Earth. Of all the forms of decimation the human race has inflicted on our formerly thriving biosphere, the ongoing geoengineering assault is mathematically the most ominous and destructive.” (Dane Wiggington, “Geoengineering, Methane Eruptions, And Imploding Arctic Ice,” March 22, 2017, Geoengineeringwatch.org)
➤ A story in the Christian Science Monitor explores carbon dioxide as a global health menace. It says sky striping is being viewed as a serious future solution to climate change. “The US Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) published a 119-page report in January, two paragraphs of which were devoted to recommending, for the first time, preliminary research into what it called ‘climate intervention.’ Specifically, it suggested investigating the effects of modifying Earth’s reflectivity and a technology called carbon dioxide removal so that ‘deliberative climate intervention may someday be one of a portfolio of tools used in managing climate change.’ Even supporters of so-called geoengineering are wary of climate interventions because of their poorly understood effects and the risk some may interpret them as a carte blanche to ignore climate change’s root causes.” (Charlie Wood, “New CO2 record: Is it time to geoengineer our planet?” Christian Science Monitor, March15, 2017
➤ A column in the San Diego newspaper this week about the alleged necessity to reduce carbon emissions debates sky striping as a future solution, one carrying risks. “The leading ideas for SRM include putting reflective particles in the stratosphere or brightening the tops of clouds by seeding them with salt particles so they reflect more sunlight back into space. Scientists know something about how SRM would work because volcanic eruptions act as SRM. They spew particles into the atmosphere that reflect radiation and then the Earth cools. If we mimic this process and inject particles into the stratosphere, we could cool the Earth on purpose.”
The essay by Jane C.S. Long plays rightly recognizes the danger of artificial banks of clouds created by jet pollution. “In a climate-changed world, extra carbon dioxide keeps heat in the Earth’s atmosphere like a blanket. In a climate-changed-plus SRM world, the climate will be affected by the combination of heating due to carbon dioxide and cooling due to reducing sunlight and these won’t perfectly cancel each other. For example the extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere makes the oceans more acidic and SRM would not fix that. SRM seems downright scary because it could be fairly fast and inexpensive and would not return the planet to any former state we have known.” (Jane C.S. Long, “Warming up to new solutions? Our world is in need of fixes,” San Diego Tribune, March 17, 2017)
These two minutes of observations of a high-altitude jet strongly suggest that sky stripes are not mere water vapor condensation, but emissions by policy and design of aerosols or dust. (YouTube)
Wow, an excellent, comprehensive article concerning the greatest crime against humanity. Thank you for your attention to and exposure of this problem.
The entire world is affected. I truly feel for my family and friends who live in the Tennessee Valley. These toxins/poisons settle in the valley, along with typical air pollution and have caused a rapid increase in chronic and deadly illness. It saddens us when we visit, to see so so many people sick and dying. Please continue to expose this.
It is shocking to see that the majority still refuse to believe what is right above their heads.
