Woman arrested after being told to ‘go inside’ because unit is ‘government property’

A Chattanooga woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after being told by an officer to go into her house because it is “government property.” The woman, Rochelle Gelpin, who pays rent, was charged on the basis of a sworn statement by the officer in which he lied about the circumstances of the encounter, according to the defendant and two eyewitnesses.
